Crockpot Express Sweet & Sour Chicken
Place chicken and veggies in the Crockpot Express. In a small bowl whisk together sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.Cook on low for 4 hours.
Remove chicken and cut into chunks or shred. Whisk ¼ cup pineapple juice (from chunks) with cornstarch and stir into the Crockpot Express. Cook on high for 30 minutes to thicken sauce. Return chicken to slow cooker along with drained pineapple chunks, stir until combined.
Serve over rice if desired, garnish with green onion and sesame seeds

- 1 ½ lbs chicken breast
- 2 carrots , diced
- 1 red pepper , diced
- 1 yellow pepper , diced
- 1 onion , diced
- 8 oz pineapple , diced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons green onion chopped
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- Sauce:
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons chili paste
Instructions
